SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder wins Cat Friendly Award

International Cat Care, or iCatCare for short, is a registered charity that has been promoting cat welfare all over the world for fifty years. Each year they host an award ceremony to recognise inspirational cat products and services in the pet industry.

We are thrilled to announce that for the second year running, iCatCare has awarded us with a Cat Friendly Award. The Cat Friendly Awards are given to products that have been carefully evaluated by iCatCare’s expert panel and have made a significant contribution to improving cat care and welfare.

Last year we received the award for our SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap because of its ability to create a more relaxed environment for resident cats by stopping intruder animals entering the home.

This year we were back at Kensington Roof Gardens to receive the Cat Friendly Award for our SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder. The feeder can improve a cat’s diet and wellbeing by preventing other pets in the home accessing their food. Some cats tend to steal another cat’s food, while others might need to be fed a prescription diet that shouldn’t be consumed by other pets. If each cat in the home is given a SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder, then their food will be kept separate, preventing obesity and making medical conditions easier to manage.

Both the cat flap and the feeder work with a cat’s veterinary implanted microchip, which is a real plus because a cat doesn’t need to wear a collar and tag to operate them.
