i bought these because my cats were eating each others food, and they’ve worked great. it was really easy to set up, but it took my cats some time to figure out how to use them.
i like the single bowl because it is wide, so my cat’s whiskers aren’t irritated while she’s eating. the dual bowls are good for feeding one of my cats treats too, because other one can’t have them. the bowls come out of the feeder easily and the bottom opens up for easy cleaning.
the lights at the front detect the amount of food you put in, and they light up green to show if it is the right portion size based on what i set up on the app. it’s a great feature for keeping track of portions for my cat who is on a specific diet. the app also sends notifications when the cats eat to tell you the amount of food they had.
overall it is a bit expensive, but it’s the only product i’ve found that’s been able to keep the cats from eating the wrong food.
